| Our cooperating Funeral Homes provide a variety of
services, including the following for our members. SERVICES PROVIDED: The funeral director provides the following services after notification by the family: • Simple Cremation Pickup the body in local area.* Procure necessary documents and permits. Cremate remains. Provide temporary plastic container for ashes. • Simple Burial Pickup the body in local area.* Procure necessary documents and permits. Supply a wooden casket. Transport casket to cemetery. Simple interment service. Memorial Society funeral directors are full service professionals who can provide additional services at modest cost. • Not included in basic services. Embalming (performed only at family request or in unusual circumstances). Opening or closing of grave or any other cemetery charge. State and local taxes. Charges for newspaper notices. *No charge within 30 miles of chosen funeral home; additional miles at minimal charge. |
